124 ۞ وَإِذِ ابْتَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا ۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِي الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿124﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد واذكر-أيها النبي- حين اختبر الله إبراهيم بما شرع له من تكاليف، فأدَّاها وقام بها خير قيام. قال الله له: إني جاعلك قدوة للناس. قال إبراهيم: ربِّ اجعل بعض نسلي أئمة فضلا منك، فأجابه الله سبحانه أنه لا تحصل للظالمين الإمامةُ في الدين.

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah [Et rappelle-toi] quand ton Seigneur eut éprouvé Abraham par certains commandements, et qu'il les eut accomplis, le Seigneur lui dit: «Je vais faire de toi un exemple à suivre pour les gens». - «Et parmi ma descendance?» demanda-t-il. - «Mon engagement, dit Allah, ne s'applique pas aux injustes»

English - Sahih International And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allah] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."
