21 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا ۚ أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ ﴿21﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد وإذا قيل لهؤلاء المجادلين في توحيد الله وإفراده بالعبادة: اتبعوا ما أنزل الله على نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم قالوا: بل نتبع ما كان عليه آباؤنا من الشرك وعبادة الأصنام، أيفعلون ذلك، ولو كان الشيطان يدعوهم؛ بتزيينه لهم سوء أعمالهم، وكفرهم بالله إلى عذاب النار المستعرة؟

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah Et quand on leur dit: «Suivez ce qu'Allah a fait descendre», ils disent: «Nous suivons plutôt ce sur quoi nous avons trouvé nos ancêtres». Est-ce donc même si le Diable les appelait au châtiment de la fournaise!

English - Sahih International And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?
