39 هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ﴿39﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد الله هو الذي جعلكم -أيها الناس- يَخْلُف بعضكم بعضًا في الأرض، فمن جحد وحدانية الله منكم فعلى نفسه ضرره وكفره ولا يزيد الكافرين كفرهم عند ربهم إلا بغضًا وغضبًا، ولا يزيدهم كفرهم بالله إلا ضلالا وهلاكًا.

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah C'est Lui qui a fait de vous des successeurs sur terre. Quiconque mécroit, sa mécréance retombera sur lui. Leur mécréance n'ajoute aux mécréants qu'opprobre auprès de leur Seigneur. Leur mécréance n'ajoute que perte aux mécréants.

English - Sahih International It is He who has made you successors upon the earth. And whoever disbelieves - upon him will be [the consequence of] his disbelief. And the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them in the sight of their Lord except in hatred; and the disbelief of the disbelievers does not increase them except in loss.
