فاسْتَخَفَّ فرعون عقول قومه فدعاهم إلى الضلالة، فأطاعوه وكذبوا موسى، إنهم كانوا قومًا خارجين عن طاعة الله وصراطه المستقيم.

Ainsi chercha-t-il à étourdir son peuple et ainsi lui obéirent-ils car ils étaient des gens pervers.

So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allah].
