ثم إن ربك للذين فعلوا المعاصي في حال جهلهم لعاقبتها وإيجابها لسخط الله -فكل عاص لله مخطئًا أو متعمدًا فهو جاهل بهذا الاعتبار وإن كان عالمًا بالتحريم-، ثم رجعوا إلى الله عمَّا كانوا عليه من الذنوب، وأصلحوا نفوسهم وأعمالهم، إن ربك -مِن بعد توبتهم وإصلاحهم- لَغفور لهم، رحيم بهم.

Puis ton Seigneur envers ceux qui ont commis le mal par ignorance, et se sont par la suite repentis et ont amélioré leur conduite, ton Seigneur, après cela est certes Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.
English - Sahih International
Then, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves - indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.
