36 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفْتَدُوا بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿36﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد إن الذين جحدوا وحدانية الله، وشريعته، لو أنهم ملكوا جميع ما في الأرض، وملكوا مثله معه، وأرادوا أن يفتدوا أنفسهم يوم القيامة من عذاب الله بما ملكوا، ما تَقبَّل الله ذلك منهم، ولهم عذاب مُوجع.

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah Si les mécréants possédaient tout ce qui est sur la terre et autant encore, pour se racheter du châtiment du Jour de la Résurrection, on ne l'accepterait pas d'eux. Et pour eux il y aura un châtiment douloureux.

English - Sahih International Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment
