قال الله تعالى: إني منزل مائدة الطعام عليكم، فمن يجحد منكم وحدانيتي ونبوة عيسى عليه السلام بعد نزول المائدة فإني أعذبه عذابًا شديدًا، لا أعذبه أحدًا من العالمين. وقد نزلت المائدة كما وعد الله.

«Oui, dit Allah, Je la ferai descendre sur vous. Mais ensuite, quiconque d'entre vous refuse de croire, Je le châtierai d'un châtiment dont Je ne châtierai personne d'autre dans l'univers.»
English - Sahih International
Allah said, "Indeed, I will send it down to you, but whoever disbelieves afterwards from among you - then indeed will I punish him with a punishment by which I have not punished anyone among the worlds."
