57 أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُ ۚ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحْذُورًا ﴿57﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد أولئك الذين يدعوهم المشركون من الأنبياء والصالحين والملائكة مع الله، يتنافسون في القرب من ربهم بما يقدرون عليه من الأعمال الصالحة، ويأمُلون رحمته ويخافون عذابه، إن عذاب ربك هو ما ينبغي أن يحذره العباد، ويخافوا منه.

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah Ceux qu'ils invoquent, cherchent [eux-mêmes], à qui mieux, le moyen de se rapprocher le plus de leur Seigneur. Ils espèrent Sa miséricorde et craignent Son châtiment. Le châtiment de ton Seigneur est vraiment redouté.

English - Sahih International Those whom they invoke seek means of access to their Lord, [striving as to] which of them would be nearest, and they hope for His mercy and fear His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is ever feared.
