46 أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ آذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَارُ وَلَٰكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ ﴿46﴾

التفسير الميسر - مجمع الملك فهد أفلم يَسِر المكذبون من قريش في الأرض ليشاهدوا آثار المهلكين، فيتفكروا بعقولهم، فيعتبروا، ويسمعوا أخبارهم سماع تدبُّر فيتعظوا؟ فإن العمى ليس عمى البصر، وإنما العمى المُهْلِك هو عمى البصيرة عن إدراك الحق والاعتبار.

Français - Muhammad Hamidullah Que ne voyagent-ils sur la terre afin d'avoir des cœurs pour comprendre, et des oreilles pour entendre? Car ce ne sont pas les yeux qui s'aveuglent, mais, ce sont les cœurs dans les poitrines qui s'aveuglent.

English - Sahih International So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
